The new 9190 and 9192 rotary headers are designed for high production hay operations. The 16 foot cutting width is designed to match a variety of customer needs and irrigation systems. The header features the new RazorBar low profile cutterbar with a spur gear cutterbar and a nodular iron casing. This cutterbar operates in a sealed common oil bath. Hydraulic conditioner roll tension and steel on steel herringbone rolls are standard equipment.
RazorBar Low Profile Cutterbar Features:
- Segmented disc modules made from nodular cast iron.
- Sisu made cutterbed gears, designed to handle maximum torque loads, 100% of the time.
- Larger cutting disc of 620 mm, as compared to 600 mm on the previous generation.
- Faster tip speed of 189 mph, as compared to 182 mph on the 9175.
- Increased disc overlap between disc for improved cut quality.
- No need to split the cutterbed, all gears can be removed from the top of the gear bed.
- Rock guards provide structural support for the cutterbar.
- Drain and vent plugs have been relocated to the side of the cutterbed improving serviceability.
