The Schwarze S347I sweeper is one of our most popular models of parking area air sweepers. Its 3.6 yard capacity provides plenty of payload containment between dumps, and its model 404C-22 Perkins 4-cycle engine is Tier 2 Compliant.
The S347I's sweeping power is generated via a regenerative air flow system which is uniquely effective in picking up both small particles and larger debris pieces. In this system, a portion of the air is vented off, which results in a larger volume of air being pumped.
The S347I is an excellent machine for parking area and mall maintenance. It has enough power to handle larger debris and rocks. In deciding whether to choose the S347I versus the somewhat more powerful S348I or the light duty S347LITE, consider what you will be doing with the sweeper. If it's general parking area maintenance, then the S347I may well be your best choice. In light duty situations or where total cost of the sweeper is the primary factor in your decision, you may elect to go with the S347LITE.
The blast and suction on the S347I is generated by the Schwarze-exclusive WhisperWheelsm fan system. The air is channeled through a rubber-lined fan housing and then back through the sweeper's powerful pickup head. The blast and the intake tubes of the S347I are 10 inches in diameter.
Like all of our 3 yard sweepers, the S347I has a sweeping width of 90 inches. Cabovers like the S347I have a dumping height of 67 inches, 7 inches higher than the conventional chassis-mounted S343 series sweepers. Debris dumping is accomplished by the use of a 12-volt hydraulic system and is outfitted with Schwarze's exclusive Double Draggin Skidssm that are highly reflective, provide longer wear and have a host of other advantages.
